The Mizell Senior Center has concluded the Senior Living Expo
and Flu Shot Clinic for 2008. With the generous support of our sponsors,
Desert Regional Medical Center, Michael Neuhoff, and All Custom Golf
Carts, we were able to provide vaccinations for 500 participants.
If you are still in need of a flu shot, we
suggest that you take advantage of the clinics provided by the Desert
Regional Medical Center.

We all know that traffic may be a challenge on the day of the Mizell Flu
Shot Clinic, sponsored by Desert Regional Medical Center. The intersection
of Ramon and Sunrise will be under major construction for approximately 10
weeks. To avoid this congestion, please park at the Leisure Center parking
lot located off Pavilion Way (cross street of Baristo, across from the
Palm Springs High School). We will provide shuttle service throughout the
day from the parking lot to the Mizell Senior Center front door.
If you choose to use the Mizell parking
lot, please enter the parking lot from Ramon Road heading west.

The date of the flu shot clinic has been announced. The event will
held at the Mizell Senior Center on Friday, October 10 beginning at 10:00
am. Please contact the Center to find out how you can get a appointment
time.
