Karen Kirby - Director of
Administration
Karen Kirby has been a Mizell Senior Center staff member since
1988. She was born in Detroit and moved to Southern California
when she was three and then to Palm Springs in 1969. She
attended local schools and has been married to her husband,
Dustin, for over twenty years. After her marriage she lived in
the San Fernando Valley and returned to Palm Springs in 1985.
Karen received a Healthy Cities Reunion Award from Palm Springs
in Action in 1998 for her contributions to the community and the
Mizell Service Award in recognition of her years of service to
the seniors of Palm Springs in 1999.
